I am a Romanian artist based in San Francisco. After leaving Romania 25 years ago I’ve moved repeatedly within the US. In my artistic work, I explore themes of (lost) home, memory, identity, connection, and time, primarily through the medium of photography, while integrating asemic writing and video work as well.  By means of a stream-of-consciousness process, my art practice shapes into a poetic space within which I search for new equilibriums in the wake of dislocation and in the absence of home; the process itself becomes documented and absorbed into the space.
